  2. Your upline?
  3. Are you willing to provide it to your downline?
If not don't join.

Product - The Critical Piece

This is to me the most important piece - you absolutely LOVE the product. So much that you would buy it even if there wasn't an opportunity attached to it.

What to look for in a Network Marketing Company

Look for network marketing company that believes in their products.

How can you tell this? They only ask you to purchase (usually on autoship) the amount of product you can easily use yourself each month. Not a company that expects you to have an inventory that you have to then try to sell each month to make any money.

Also, do they offer a money back guarantee?

Next look for a company that rewards the person who sponsors you with a bonus based on what you earn.

This will tie your compensation to their compensation. Viewed this way they work for you instead of you working for them. In the same way you'll be working for everyone in your downline. You are all interconnected. A true team instead of viewing each other as competitors.

The company's compensation plan is the key component to analyze how much support you are going to receive from your upline.

Look for a company that continually adds new products

Adding unique, valuable products is the life blood of any company. A network marketing company is no different.

You've found a company and sponsor you want to partner with. You've researched the compensation plan and they add unique valuable products. You're ready to sign up if you've read the terms of agreement.

Knowing the "rules" and your "rights" are very important in protecting your business. Take the time necessary to fully understand the terms of agreement and the compensation plan.

Never sign up if you feel pressured or told you will miss a huge opportunity by waiting. If the company is a good fit for you they will be a good fit next week or however long it takes you to fully understand what is expected of you.

Marketing your products and opportunity

Putting together your marketing of the products and opportunity is next. Also, becoming a person of value.

Note: You should have a clear idea of how you will market the products and opportunity before signing up. This step is just getting your business cards, email address, who to contact, putting up a website, etc. Not figuring out what you need to do. If not wait to sign up until you do.
