What Is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is where you recommend a product and receive a commission when the prospect purchases the product. This is the most economical and quickest way to start an online business.
Sounds great right? Not so fast. No matter what you choose to market on the internet there are some steps (yes work) that you need to do in order to attract potential customers.
I suggest that you only recommend products you currently use or would use yourself. It is important for your credibility to "keep it real".
How do I start?
Keyword searchesThe first step is keyword searches to make sure your product(s) have profit potential.
Finding product(s)
Once you know your business profitability I recommend you start finding products to promote.
Here are a few places to look:Commission Junction - they have the most products that I am aware of.
Clickbank - they have ebooks you can promote.
Start building content
Once you know the product(s) you are promoting I recommend you start building content. I'll be adding information on how to build content soon.
In order to make money online I believe you need to add value (quality content). The more value you provide the more visitors you'll attract.
Putting up a website is very easy. Building a profitable business takes a commitment. Having quality content to put on your website is critical for long-term success.
